GTA 6 has finally been revealed! Rockstar released a trailer to tease the game, which has the gaming community hyped for the next GTA instalment.
The Grand Theft Auto community is buzzing with anticipation for the next instalment in the gaming franchise. The reveal of GTA 6 became an instant hit, thanks to its features and editing. Rockstar, the developers behind GTA, teased the approaching release on social media. Within 24 hours, the post gained almost 2 million likes. The YouTube trailer became the highest-viewed upload within 24 hours outside of the music category, gaining over 90 million views.
Since then, the trailer has reached an impressive 175 million views, with fans re-watching and analysing every second of footage. While Rockstar has yet to make an official announcement on the plot, eager Rockstar fanatics have pieced together information from the trailer. It hints at a Bonnie and Clyde-style love story, featuring two main characters who are hardened but ambitious criminals. The themes will likely be surrounding trust and betrayal, with one protagonist asking the other about their trust.
There has been much speculation surrounding the release date. A financial report from Take-Two – the parent company of Rockstar – indicates that GTA 6 will see a late 2025 release. Typically, GTA games are sent out into the wild in September or October.
